Why Friend of a Squid?
At McGill University, I had this great Vietnamese-Canadian housemate named Le. She had a photo of her father wearing a t-shirt that said “Friend of a Squid” back when he was fishing in Vietnam. There was no further explanation, nor was one required. I think it was just some random English text.
I never forgot the random text in that photo.
